WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. . Poultry.— At the mart on Saturday our pens were well filled with poultry (if all classes. Amongst those penned were a fine line of fat ducks, which realise* satisfactory rates. Prices as under:— Hens ffatf 2s to 3* Id, young Is lOcl to 2s lid, cockerels (young) Is Cd to 2s. fat 2s 3d to 3s 2d, ducklings (young) Sd to Is, fat 2s 2d to Bs, geese 3s Cd, turkey hens 6s, gobblers 12s to 133 ad, chicks 4(1 to lOd, ducks 2s 2d to 2s 6d.

The usual Hue of auction sundries realised satisfactory rates. Fruit—During the week fruit has come forward in extra large quantities, heavy shipments coming forward from Auckland, Nelson, and Hawke's Bay. Prices as under:—Bananas (ripe) 3>/id per lb, apples (American Winosaps and Jonathans) 17s (Id to 18s Od, cherries 7d to Is 11), cherry plums 3s 6d to 5s case, grapes 2s per 11), encumbers 4s Od to 5s dozen, tomatoes (firsts) Od to Is lb, seconds yd to Sd lb, gooseberries 4s to ss, red currants 2s (id to 3s Cd, strawberries 10d to Is yd, greei* peas 4s .to 6s bag. , L.
