Lamb—Poor demand, prices unchanged. Beef—Poor demand; holders are firm At laat quotation. Tallow—For good beef and muttoa, since our last cable, prices are unchanged. For good colored mixed or beef prices are 3d per cwt. higher, other descripi tions 6d per cwt. higher. ARGENTINE MEAT EXPORTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Tuesday. The Department of Commerce has received the following cablegram from Buenos Aires dated December 9:—The following shipments of produce have been despatched from the Argentine to United Kingdom ports during November, 1912. compared with November, 1011: —Frozen beef, 1912, 145,000 quarters. 1911, 122.000 quarters; chilled beef, quarters. 170,000 (190.000); frozen mutton, earcases, 208,000 (270,000); frozen lamb, carcases, 93,000 (117,000); butter, cwts., 14,900 (0802).
