SPORTING.
At a meeting of the committee of the Waverley-Waitotara Racing Club held on Saturday afternoon, a balance-sheet for the recent meeting was presented showing a net profit of £7OO. The credit balance of the dub now stands at £llOO. It was decided that extensive alterations to give greater facilities to the public be made, among the suggested improvements being a 32-horse silent totalizator.
