OPERATIONS IN WEBER DISTRICT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dannevirke, Tuesday. Another syndicate has been formed to bore for oil in the Weber district, comprised of Dominion shareholders. Options are held over 150 acres. An expert oil man arrives from America this month. . A derrick will be erected at Waipatiki, and operations commenced with all expedition.
Advice was received yesterday mom ing that the final shipments of the refinery plant for the Taranaki (New Zealand) Oil Wells, Ltd., had been despatched from Home.
