LAKE COLERIDGE TO BE USED.- , By Telegraph—Press Association. Cliristcliiirch, Last Night. The City Council to-night considered reports on the Government's offer to supply the bulk of the electricity to the city from the Lake Coleridge hvdro-elec-trical installation, Ify Mr. F. Black, MJnst.E.E., of Wellington, and the Council's own electrical engineer, Mr. J. C. Scott, and on the recommendation of the Electricity Committee, agreed that a loan of £120,000 be raised to provide for transforming plants, mains, street lighting services, meters and buildings to utilise the supply from Lake Coleridge.
