Summary.—Warm and fair to cloudy weather has continued, hut unsettled conditions have prevailed at times in the extreme south. The barometer has fallen everywhere since yesterday, especially in the south. Strong northerly and westerly winds have predominated. Forecast. —Present indications are for warm and hazy weather generally, with cloudiness increasing in the northern and southernmost districts, and also on the West Coast of the South Island. The barometer has still a downward tendency, and strong northerly winds are probable.
