NEW PLYMOUTH. Mails will close (subject to alterations) at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as under:—

For Wellington and South—6.ls a.m. and 12.20 p.m. daily. For Auckland and North—Tuesdays and Fridays, at 7 p.m., and daily per mail train at 6.15 a.m.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7. For Australian States and South Africa, via Auckland, at G. 15 a.m. For Australian States and South Africa, United States of America, Canada, Central America, West Indies, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, at 6.15 a.m. (per s.s. Victoria, at Auckland, to connect with Oceanic Co.'s steamer at Sydney). TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10. Parcel mail for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe and South America, at 6 pan. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11.

For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Teneriffe and South America, via Monte Video, at ft. 15 a.m. (Correspondence for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe must lie specially addressed). Due London January 23. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12. For Australian States, South Africa, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Eastern and Mediterranean ports, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, at 12.20 p.m. (Money Orders close 11 a.m.) Due London January 17. FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13.

For Tasmania, via Bluff, at G. 15 a.m, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14.

For Australian States and South Africa, via, Auckland, at- 6.15 a.m.
