SALVATION ARMY TOYS AT THE SEASIDE.
To the Editor. Sir,—A letter is to hand from the manager of the Salvation Army Boys' Home at Kltham (Staff-Capt. Glithro'e), expressing a desire to bring his large family of about -10 boys to- the seaside for one. week during the Christmas holidays. The manager also suggests that perhaps some sympathetic friends who may be leaving for I heir holidays would offer their furnished apartments to the stall' or oflicers. who will take every care and responsibility, which will enable them to eater for the needs of the b'oys. He suggests, too. that a marquee might kindly be lent for the housing of the boys, as they will bring all blankets and rugs required. Many of our Wellington friends have yearly responded to the requirements of the girls' home and it is a great joy and encouragement to the officers, wiio labor year by year in moulding and building up of the young boys and girls of our own towns and country who would be otherwise neglected. Any friends who may be disposed to help us in this matter could write the editor of this paper or Ensign Adams. Eliot street, for full particulars. —I am, etc..
XORMAX ADAMS, Ensign.
