SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
Bv Telegraph.—Press Association. ° Wellington, Last Night. The following weather summary and forecast was issued by fee Government Meteorologist at 5 p.m.:-Summary: The barometer is moderately high, and fair, mild and hazy weather has prevailed everywhere to-day, with variable breezes. Forecast: Present indications are for increasing northerly winds and a falling barometer, warm, and sultry •weather in the east coast districts of loth Islands, and mild and hazy conditions generally.' A change to unsettled ■weather is probable soon, with ram, especially on the west coast and in the southern districts.
