YESTERDAY'S GAMES. MB URENTI v. HKill SCHOOL. Playing against TTiyTi School on the school grounds, Urcnui (who batted one man short) got a good leg in for what promises to be their fourth consecutive win this season. They went in first, and as the result of three hours' hatting, compiled 223 runs, the wicket being in good order and playing well. C. Wilson and W. Fuller opened, the former being dismissed for 10. His partner, however, found the bowling to his liking, and had notched 05 runs by the time lie was caught out by A. 'Little. W. Wilson, who went in at the fall of the second wicket, likewise made a stand with 71 runs, although he did not score as freely as Fuller, hitting twelve consecutive "ones" before he got properly into his stride. G. Foreman hit out freely to the tune of 40, while H. Foreman was bowled by Moyes for 15. High School did not commence to bat until it had turned halfpast five, and when stumps were drawn at fi.3o they had five wickets down for 30 runs. Monteath, with 17 to his credit, was the only member of the team to secure double figures. Results:— URENL—Ist Innings.

Waitara appear to have caught Inglewood A. in oad form. James 18, Smaile 13, and Hawkins 13 were the top scorers for the winners, and Clegg 23, and Marsh 20, were 'the only members of the Inglewood eleven to run into double figures. Waitara, who batted first, compiled RS runs, teoros being as follow:—James IS, Johns 9, Passau 6, Purdie 11, Skelton.3, Smaile 13, Hawkins 4, Somerville 13, Foreman 4, Harrison 1, La Pouple (riot out) 4, extras 8.
