ROWING.
It was decided at a meeting of the Waitara Rowing Club uu Tuesday to submit the following proposal to' the Clifton Rowing Club:—That the Waikra Rowing Club \favour.s^amalgaina tion conditionally on the two clubs assigning to the new club their interests in leases, etc., with the present trustees sis joint" trustees of Unit club, tile question of liabilities and ways and means to be discussed by a combined committee.
