: SUMMARY AND FORECAST. f < '" By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Summary.—The barometer rose in the I night, the winds changing to southerly and decreasing generally in force. Much lain fell last night and early this morning, but the conditions improved during the day. Forecast. —Present indications are for changeable weather with scattered showers, especially on the West Coast and in the southernmost districts. Moderate to strong and variable winds are probable, with south-westerly to ••westerly predominating. The barometer is unsteady, with a rising tendency at present, but is likely to-fall again for a small disturbance due to pass to-morrow night.
