THE SUFFRAGETTES.
MRS. PANKHURST'S LIABILITY. By Cable—Priss London, December 2. The Daily News draws the attention of Mr. McKenna to Mrs. Pankhurst's liability for the outrages, and quotes as evidence her Leicester speech. [Mrs. Pankhurst, speaking at Leicester, said that the militants had tried breaking Government property without effect, then shop windows, and now pillar-boxes, because they would touch everybody. The agitating could only be stopped by given women votes.]
A CHILDISH EXPLOIT. London, December 2. Suffragettes painted in White on the doors of many residences in Dublin the words, "Votes for Women."
WORK-WOMEN'S DEMONSTRATIONS. Received 3, 11.5 p.m. London, December 3. The suffragettes are arranging for working-women to visit Mr. Asquith and Mr. Lloyd George in the House of Commons in January. Mrs. Pankhurst has appealed to the less courageous militants to find money and bring work-women from all parts of the country to participate in the demonstration.
