Splendid weather prevailed for cricket matches yesterday, but the grounds were somewhat heavy as a result of the recent rain. Playing against Opoho Dunedin made 75 and 22 for no wickets, Opoho responding with 48. For Opoho, Eckhoff took seven wickets for 12, and for Dunedin Torrance took five for 10. ! Albion made-101 against Carisbrook A, land tlio latter put up 117 for two wick.cts (Hopkins 5!) not out, Sideberg 44). Carisbrook B made 58 against Grange. IDownes took four wickets for 20. Grange I responded with 71). In their second inI nings Carisbrook had lost five wickets for 13. Downes'took three wickets for five, and McLaughlin two for four.
