"TV"AREA. (From Our Own Correspondent). The Egmont County crusher arrived here last week to finish last season's contracts, and was to have made a start crushing on Tuesday, but the usual wet weather set in, as it always does when the crusher comes up here. The funeral of Mr. and Mrs. Coch- ( rane's little girl took place at Okato on Monday afternoon, and was well attended. Much sympathy is felt for the ■parents in their sad bereavement. Mr. H. Corbett has returned home from a holiday in Canterbury. The rivers during the recent wet weather have been running over their banks. I They have not been so high for at least I ten years.
