In the Supreme Court, Edward Rab■ir'n Roberts, was charged with wilfully making a false declaration in regard to his name under the Marriage Act fiie jury returned a verdict of guilty. His Honor commented on the seriousness of the offence, but said tho present circumstances of the case would be met by a fine of £2O, or in the alternative two months' imprisonment.
