Wheat fell threepence upon the American decline, but has closed firmer on reports of heavy rain in the River I'late. Cargoes are weak. 3Gs 9d has ibeen offered, for an Australian January-Feb-ruary shipment and 3Cs (id for a MarchApril shipment. Received 20, 12.20 a.m. London, November 28. Wheat.—The American visible supply is 108,324 quarters.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA'S AVIIEAT. Received 20, 1.5 a.m. Adelaide, November 28. An official estimate of the wheat yield gave the crop as 20,137,870 bushels, an average of nine bushels per acre. WOOL SALES. Received 29, 1.5 a.m. Sydney, November 28. AA r ool, 44,448 bales were offered during the week and 42,185 sold. Competition generally was keen, tliough occasionally irregular, particularly at the closing sales. The recent high values were barely maintained to-day.
