THE RELIEF OF LUCKNOW. Survivors watch the scenes they acted. Tragic memories. 1 j " DAILY NEWS & LEADER." SEPT. 5. INDIAN MUTINY FILM. "Four Indian Mutiny veterans, the only survivors of Lucknow now in Chelsea Hospital, sat in a small room in Gerrard street yesterday and gazed in wonderment at the reconstruction of the stining events on a screen. The Edison film was produced in Bermuda with the co-operation of tlie 2nd Queen's Own Regiment, and was extraordinarily realistic. The movements of the soldiers roused the veterans to enthusiasm so much that when the relieving brigade entered the city, one of the men cried out, "I was among that lot." The dazzling tropical sunlight was also well reproduced, and the picture drama, with its j intensely moving scenes, should secure great popularity." THE RELIEF OF LUCKNOW. THE RELIEF OF LUCKNOW.
