THE WOOL SALES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 27, 10 p.m. Sydney, November 27. At the wool sales, competition was keen and strong in all classes. Super greasy combings brought up to a record for the season. London, November 27. Wool.—7lSo bales were offered, including 1188 from New Zealand. There was an excellent selection of merinos, but a poor selection of crossbreds. The attendance was unusually large. Competition was very brisk. Compared with October closing rates, merinos advanced sto 7 1 /- per cent., shafty and light conditioned showing the greatest appreciation. Fine crossbreds advanced 5 per cent., and coarser 7 J / 2 per cent.
