By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The Otago A. & P. Society's summer show opened to-day in dull weather, but only one or two light showers fell during the day. The quality of the exhibits is fully up to the standard of the previous year, but the entries show a decrease, being 871 this year as against 949 last year. The fa!ling-off is due to the unfavorable weather. The following championships were awarded: Draught horses: Stallion, Baron's Bold; mare, Baron's Brilliant (reserve Agatha). 'Cattle: Jersey bull, F. E. Hellyer (N.E. Harbor) ; cow, F. E. Hellyer. Shorthorn bull: Arthur Chamberlain (Canterbury); cow, D. Murray (Clydesdale)). Polled Angus: Bull and cow, Roberts & Co. (Middlemarch). Ayrshire: Bull, Rankin Bros. (Underwood); cow, executors of the late W. Cowan (Enfield). Holstein Friesian: Bull and cow, D. Mackenzie (Pomahaka). Fat'bullock: W. J. Charters (Mosgiel). Border Leicesters: Ram and ewe, T. S. Little (Ngapara). English Leicesters: Ewe, T. S. Little. Lincolns-.' Ram. T. S. Little; ewe, N.Z. & Australian Land Co. (Hampden). Romney Marsh: Ram and ewe, W. Telford (Waiwera South). Shropshire Downs: Ram arid ewe, W. Gardiner (Island Cliff). Inbred half-bred ram and ewe: N.Z. & Australian Land Co.
