Putiki, from Westport, Wednesday. RaraAva, from North, Friday. Rarawa, from North, Tuesday. TELEGRAPHIC. ARRIVED. Wellington, Tuesday.—Arrived, at 4.30 a.m., Corinna, from NeAv Plymouth. SAILED, Wellington, Tuesday—Sailed, at 0.20 .a.m.; Kia Ora, for London. Newcastle, Tuesday.—Sailed, Ihumata, for Gisborne. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa brought 113 tons of cargo from Onehunga yesterday morning, including 68 tons of manure, 2 tons sugar and a quantity of fruit.
THE FLORA. The Flora arrived yesterday from southern ports with 180 tons of general cargo. Her departure for the West Coast .last night depended upon the weather clearing^ THE COLLIERS. The thick. weather on the coast apparently was felt by the Moa, which was expected last evening from Westport. She is to discharge her cargo of coal . to-day. The Putiki is due early this morning from Westport. RECORD SHIPBUILDING. There are actually under construction in Great Britain at the present time, under the supervision of Lloyds' Register, 408 vessels of 1,820,392 tons. In the returns : for the June quarter it was pointed' out that the total tonnage then building to the society's class was the largest ever reached up to that time, but those figures are now exceeded by no fewer than 191,000 tons. Of the vessels now building, 358 are for the United Kingdom, their total tonnage being 1,355,548 tons, and 25 are being constructed for the British colonies, amounting to 72,438 tons.
