Ortie McManigal's confession revealed plans to blow up the Panama Canal. Dynamite already in use for canal purposes was to be secured and a quantity placed in each lock. The motive for the proposed crime was the employment of non-unionists. Received 20. !) p.m. New York. November 25. At the dynamite enquiry at Indianopo lis other witnesses did not corroborate McManigal's statement regarding the blowing up of the Panama Cmull.
