RULES AND REGULATIONS: Chopping and Sawing E\ents (Under the rules of the N.Z. Axemen's Association).—Nominations close with the secretary, Rahotu, and Mr. Stanners. Eltham, on December 9,1912. Nominations must he accompanied by the necessary fees and performances, otherwise they will not be accepted. In the double-handed sawing events name of mate must be given; otherwise nomination will not be accepted. Handicaps will appear in the Taranaki Daily News. Budget and Opunake Times on or about December 13. Acceptances close December 23. Cycle Events (run under the rules of the N.Z. Athletic and Cycling Union). —Nominator s (accompanied by necessary past performances) close on December 12, I"'°.
