The wickets were good and scoring in all the matches was heavy. Eden scored 271 for the lose of seven wickets, against Parnell, who lost 3 wickets for ; 131 runs in the second innings. Anthony (not out) 41, Sommervell 32, and Oliff 35 were the chief scorers for Eden, which team won on the first innings by 116 runs. Cummings scored 107 und Brooke-Smith 60. The North ShoreGfrafton game was drawn. Grafton made 303 and North Shore lost 7 wickets for 288 runs. Sale (not out) 120, Archer (not out) 40. Mason took 3 wickets for 68 runs and Mackrell 3 for 03. Ponsonby defeated University by 140 rung on the first innings. University made 85 and 244 runs for 7 wickets. Airey (not out) 126, Walker 35, and Ponsonby 231, F. Wilson.sl, N. C. Snedden 37.' Walker took 5 wickets for 67 runs.
