HOTELKEEPER FINED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Wednesday. Michael Hyland, licensee of Sua ViewHotel, at Awanui, has been fined £iso for supplying liquor to Natives in a prohibited district. PELORUS JACK REAPPEARS. Blenheim, Wednesday. Mr. W. IT. Skinner, Commissioner of Crown Lands, tile other day was informed by a fisherman, named Nelson, that at the head of Pelorus Sound he saw quite recently Pelorus Jack apparently in good health and spirits. Nelson knows the fish well and is certain of his facts. A SERTOUK CHARGE. Napier, November 20. Aeneas Mcintosh Murison. a barman at the Clarendon Hotel, was arrested last night on a charge of supplying a certain drug to a woman with intent to produce abortion. Accused, who appeared in court this morning, was remanded till Monday.
