ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
A SUPPOSED SUICIDE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington,' Friday. At about 11.15 last night Alfred Pimm was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition. It appears that Pimm, who is 30 years of age and is single, was found lying outside a bach, at Lyall Bay with his throat cut. It is also believed that he had taken nitric acid. DEATH FROM A FALL. Napier, Last Night. Peter Christiansen, a driver, met with ' a fatal accident this afternoon at Brookfield, near Meanee. He was driving a '. dray, when he fell on to the road, break- ; ing his neck. Death was instantaneous. A SENSATIONAL ACCIDENT. _____ i s ,Ureymouth, Last Night. This afternoon, while a drover named ' Gibbons was collecting cattle grazing : on a hill at the back of the Omoto i quarry, two of the animals broke away ' from the main body. One leaped over , the quarry and landed on the road 150 < feet below, landing one foot in front of a trap occupied by Mr. Thomas and his wife. The bullock had ail its legs broken, and was promptly despatched. DEATH OF A SCHOOLBOY. Te Kuiti, Last Night. Osmond Lepage, ten years of age, a subject to epileptic fits, expired at school , to-day. Dr. Zobel certified to the death, , and no inquest is necessary. I
