Picton, Friday.—Sailed, at 1 a.m., Haupiri, for New Plymouth. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga yesterday morning with 143 tons of cargo, including 16 tons sugar, 17 tons cement, 37 tons manure, 4 tons of flour and a quantity of fruit, besides 5200 ft of timber. THE HAUPIRI. The Haupiri is clue from Wellington and Picton this morning. After discharging her cargo of 70 tons she proceeds : to Onehunga, whence she sails direct for Wellington. THE STRANDED HAWERA. Mr. W. Bennett, of the South Taranaki Shipping Company, states that the stranded steamer Hawera is now end on to the sea, with her bow pointed up the beach. Men are hard at work patching up the damages, and it is hoped that the vessel will bo pumped out on .Monday to have her ready for floating her well up on the beach on the highwater springs. The Hawera will probably be lifted up to the crown of the beach in a fortnight. ' The Rimu is at present completing an extensive overluiul at Auckland, and will probably sail about Wednesday next j for Hokianga, to take up her running in ? the Onehunga-Opunake-Wanganui trade. 5 The Aupouri, the vessel at present reliev- ■ ing in this service, is expected in Auckland pn the 20tli inst., and will probably lay up for an indefinite period.
