SPANISH PREMIER SHOT DEAD. AX ANARCHIST OUTRAGE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Madrid, November 12. Senor Canalejas, the Spanish Premier, has been assassinated. The assassin was Manuel Serrao Martill, aged 28, who is believed to have been incited by the fiery speeches at Bunday's annual demonstration over Ferrari execution. . Senor Canalejas was entering the Ministry of the Interior when four shots were fired, one striking him in the right ear. The tody was laid on a table in the Central Hall, where King Alphonso knelt in prayer. .THE ASSASSIN COMMITS SUICIDE. London, November 12. The anarchist who assassinated Senor Canalejas, the Spanish Preitiier, while be was entering the Cabinet, has 'committed suicide. FURTHER DETAILS. ASSASSIN STILL ALIVE. Madrid, November 12. Senor Canalejas was on foot and alone. He stopped to look in a show window near the Ministry of the Interior, when a man went up and fired four shots pointblank at him. Canalejas fell dead, shot in the brain. While Canalejas was lying on the pavement the assassin fired again, and then shot himself, but he is still alive. A HEARTRENDING SCENE. Madrid, November 12.
