THE TRADE COMMISSION.
AN feMPIRE TRADE MARK. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 10, 5.5 p.m. London, November 10. ' At the Empire Commission a deputation from the Manchester cotton trade, representing £44,000,000 of capital, opposed the Empire trade mark. They pointed out that the effect would be that all traders would be at the mercy of the Empire Trade Mark Association, who would be able to dictate terms with regard to the use of the trade mark.
