I LONDON MARKETS. London, November 8 Wheat.—Generally dull; trade is dragging. The stormy weather in the Argentine is a serious factor from the bear standpoint; 38s to 38s 6d is being offered for a January-February shipment. Liverpool futures: December-March 90% cents. There is a small supply of Australian spot, nominally 41s to 41s (id. For parcels of new crop on passage to Lon-Deeember-Jamiary shipment arc selling at 375. New Zealand is dull; stocks are heavier; best is quoted at 395. Flour.—There is poor inquiry; 28s ex store; 27s is offered for the new crop. Oats. —There is little demand; "A" gartons on passage, 25s 6d; La Plata new crop December-January 16s 10y>d. Beans.—There is a fair inquiry; nominally 38s 6d ex store. Peas.—There is little doing. Butter.—The market continues dull, owing to the large Home and French supplies, and the considerable quantities of Siberian in cold store. Australian, choicest 116s to 118s, occasionally 120s; secondaries very low, 112s to 114s; Danish 127s to 1295. Cheese* —Canadian 63s to 655. Copper.—Spot £76 12s 6d, three months £77 ss. The Department of Commerce has received the following cable from Buenos Ayres, dated November 8, concerning the export of produce from the Argentine to United Kingdom ports during October in 1912 compared: with October in 1911: Frozen beef and chilled beef, 1912, 350i--000 quarters; 1911, frozen 95,766, chilled 152,771. frozen mutton 250,000 carcases and 260,874 carcases frozen lamb 550,000 carcases and 55,000 (?) carcases; butter 870 cwt. and nil.
