WIFE AND FOUR CHILDREN MURDERED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, November 7. A tragedy has occurred at Kerrang. The bodies of Mrs. Andrews, wife of a •dairyman, and four children whose ages ■ ranged from three to nine years, were found in a bedroom. Their heads were frightfully battered. Andrews' body •was found in the kitchen. He had been shot through the heart. Andrews ■Was of a deeply religious temperament, and was a steward of the Methodist Church. He had been suffering from depression, following on influenza, and anxiety about money matters. The evidence is that he killed his family ■with an axe and 1 then shot himself.
