Bates issued the following weather summary and forecast at 5 p.m.:—Summary: West to southwesterly winds have predominated, and strong to gale in many parts of the ' Dominion, and unsettled and showery - weather has been experienced generally. * The barometer continues low in the »outh. Forecast: Present indications are for cloudy, unsettled and showery weajtKer, the winds veering from westerly to - southerly, strong to a gale, and the barometer will rise steadily everywhere soon.
