j NEW ZEALAND AND CANADIAN. | By Telegraph—Press Association. I Wellington, Wednesday. I The senior cadets who represented I New Zealand at the Toronto Exhibition j arrived in Wellington yesterday afternoon by the Auckland express. Tliey were met by the Mayor and. a large number of representative citizens and welcomed. Headed by the Fifth Regiment Band, they marched to Parliament Buildings, where they were entertained by , the Hon. James Allen at afternoon tea, i After being put through some drill they I were addressed by the Prime Minister j who stated that they had been a credit j to themselves and the country and' tc ) the officer who had trained them. Cheers I" were then given for the boys. In conversation with a reporter, Capt Fullerton said that the trip had beer \ capital, both from an educational auc j a pleasure point of view. Two weeks J were spent at the Toronto Exhibition i They won-' every competition except the j shooting ,and the place they secured ir 1 this was equal to first in the others, as Ithe conditions were against them. The\ visited Niagara Falls and also Bailiff ] The Duke of Connaught (Governor-Gen { eral) inspected them at Vancouver, where they spent ten days. Mr. Gow, Nev, Zealand's trade representative, went tc a lot of trouble to entertain them. They had repeptions everywhere. i CANADIANS IN WELLINGTON. Wellington, November 6.
