SELF-DENIAL COLLECTIONS.. By Telegraph—Press Association. ' Wellington, Last Night. The results of the Salvation Army Self-Denial collection in New Zealand were made known to-day. This is the first time the collection has been taken since New Zealand was separated from Australia. New Zealand's total is £32,274, an increase of £3450. The total for Australasia shows an increase of £4750 over last year. The figures for the four centres in New Zealand are: Auckland division £3870, Wellington division £5771, Christchurch division £2777, Dunedin division £3464. The totals for the leading corps in the Dominion are: Gisborne £I2OO, Wellington £llsO, Auckland £1025, Dunedin £7OO, Christchurch £646, Invercargill £SOO, Palmerston North £416, Wanganui £362, Hastings £340, Wellington South £305, Carterton £3OO, Timaru £2BO, Newton £277, Blenheim £243, New Plymouth £240, Oamaru £232, Eltham £231, Ashburton £225, Eangiora £224, Parnell £BIO, Napier £2Ol, Gore £2OO.
