An amusing story comes from Onchunga (sfiys the Auckland Herald). It appears that the other morning a welldressed young man entered a local tobacconist's shop and asked to be given two tins of tobacco. The proprietor said, "Certainly, sir"; and supplied the young man with his wants. Thereupon the latter hastily made his exit. When pursued and captured the young man was asked none too politely to pay. He replied that he had asked for the tobacco to be given him, and the tobacconist had acceded to his request. However, on being pressed, the ingenious young man paid the full retail price for his gift of tobacco, and was then allowed to depart. ALL ARE UNITED In saying that for all stomach troubles there is no remedy like Dr. Sheldon's Digestive Tabulcs. Price Is Gd and 2s Gd. Obtainable everywhere.
