DAIRY FARMERS. The. hutter-fat tind casein competition at the Egmont A. and P. Association's great annual Show this year will be of remarkable interest and value. Accommodation for the cows is most suitable and adaptable for the'purpose, the .Society having secured 23 acres on the Glover Road beautifully rich in pasture ■and situated within -the borough. All the cows are to be delivered to the .Society not later than Monday, lltli November, and will be in possession of the Association for nine (lays, the butterfat test to be made on the last four daj's. The Society will milk the cows, but exhibitors wishing to supply their own milkers may do so. A class for best cow for supplying a cheese factory, both butter-fat and casein to be taken into consideration will be worked in conjunction with the butter-fat competition, both to lie under the supervision of the Dairy Commissioner and stall; £2B are oll'ered in prizes in addition to a gold medal and special prizes. Those competitions have, been entirely successful the lust two years, and good entries are again anticipated. The Society will care for all exhibits, and farmers need have no fear for their pet fancies. The competitions will again be under the stewardship of Mr. 11 Henson, and with his experience the classes should be well managed.
