SHERMAN'S DEATH.
AN ELOQUENT TRIBUTE.

President Taft was seated at dinner at Brooklyn Yard when the news of Sherman's death was received. He was greatly affected, and paid an eloquent tribute to the deceased politician. He then asked the banquetters to adjourn.
The Senate will attend the funeral in a body.
