WEATHER.
SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' Wellington. Last Night. The following weather summary and forecast has been issued by the Government Meteorologist:—The barometer has fallen considerably in the south. The ■winds have been variable, with westerly breezes predominating. Fair, mild and cloudy weather has prevailed. Forecast: Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, freshening northerly and westerly winds, squally and strong to a gale at times about Cook and Fo--veaux"straits, increasing cloudiness with Tain following in most parts of the country.
