ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.

On a charge of having, at Sydenham last week, assaulted Mary Donovan and George Boyce. with intent to do them bodily harm, James Madden was at the Police Court committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Evidence was given that the accused stabbed Bovcc on his right wrist with a pocket-knife.
