SALE OF WORK.

A very successful sale of work was held in the Good Templar Hall yesterday, in aid of the Baptist Church new building fund. The articles sold well, and the proceeds were very satisfactory. The •tallholders were: Misses Honor, Hales, Ambury, F. Coodacre, and Mrs. May, Proceedings were enlivened in the evening with a programme of instrumental and varied items and Tecitationa. Song* were given by Misses Stewart and CaTthew and Messrs. Drew, V«ale, and Reid, and recitations by the Rev. F." Hales, Mr. Scott, and Miss Moverley. Mrs. and Master Moverley contributed a pianoforte trio, Mr. Golding a pianoforte solo, and Mr. Scott a banjo solo.
