A SINGULAR FATALITY'. • Bv Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A single man named John Bollard, aged 38, residing at Newmarket, was killed at Newmarket last evening by being run over first by a motor ear and then by a tram ear. DEATH FROM BURNS. Carterton, Saturday. A little girl named Mary Jane Rayner, the infant daughter of Frank Rayner, Te Whiti, near Gladstone, was burnt to death yesterday. It is presumed she played with some matches while her parents were out milking. When they returned the child was in flames and shockingly burnt. She succumbed to her injuries a few hours later.
