Mrs. Home received, her guests in a bine and pink flowered silk foulard, with a tunic of black ninon, edged with a silken fringe; Miss K. Hamerton, saxe-blue voile; Miss Brown, black brocade, finished with lace trimmings; Miss Tidy, smoke-grey ilowercd muslin, trimmed with Valenciennes lace; Miss A. Hempton. pale grey silk; Mrs. Hirst, amethyst Ilowercd muslin, trimmed with bands of mauve silk; Mrs. McKcllar, black brocade; Mrs. Collins, black sequiuncd net over taffeta; Miss Grant, vieux rose charmeuse, trimmed with Oriental embroidery; Mxs| Eitzherbert,
