THE EMIGRATION QUESTION. By Gable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 23, 11.30 p.m. London, October 23. At the Dominions Commission, Mr. Albert Spicer, on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, urged the importance of the emigration of boys and girls to the Dominions as an alternative to sending skilled agriculturists, who were required at Home. The Emigration Committee of the Colonial Institute insisted on the advantages of the emigration of children, particularly orphans, under boards of guardians.
