QUALITY PRINCE is a beautiful dark, dapple bay, stands 18 hands, has good hoofs, with black points, good flat bone, good quality hair, with splendid action, and has remarkably good- symmetry and temper, measures 12 J / 2 inches below the knee. . Bess, who was by that celebrated stallion Thane of Clyde,~imported.from Scotland by the late H. McLean, of Invercargill, was the dam of, most of Mr. A. Bremer's valuable- stud of draught horses, and her progeny have been very successful at Taranaki, Hawera, Wanganui and Palmerston North shows. . Two yearling colts (Commonwealth and Federation), descended from Bess, took first and second prizes at Napier Show, 1902.
