NEW PLYMOUTH. Mails will close (subject to alterations) at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as under;— For Wellington and South—6.ls a.m. and 12.20 p.m. daily. For Auckland and North, Tuesdays and Fridays, at 7 p.m., and daily per mail train at 6.16 a.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices, daily, at 6.15 a.m., 12.20 p.m. and 3.55 p.m.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 22. For Suva, Fiji Islands (per s.s. Navua, from Auckland), at 6.15 a.m. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, United States of America, West Indies, Central America and Canada, via Vancouver; also Fiji, Hawaiian Islands and Japan (per s.s. Makura from Auckland), *t 6.15 a.m. Correspondence for the Continent of Europe must be specially addressed. Due London November 25.

For Australian States, South Africa, Ceylon, India, China, Straits Settlements, Eastern and Mediterranean ports, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, at 12.20 p.m. Correspondence for the United Kingdom must be specially addressed. Due London November 30. (Money Orders close at 11 a.m.) FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25.

For Tasmania, via Bluff, at 6.15 a.m. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26.

For Australian States and South Af rica, via Auckland, «at 0.15 a.m. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29.
