EASTFLYLVO CLUB. During the past week the New Plymouth East Flying Club decided two races. The first was flown from Waverley, a distance of 58 miles. Only yearlings competed. Thirteen lofts sent seventy-one birds. Results: R. Davy's Ngaiomii, 2 hrs. 27min. (velocity 694 yds), 1; W. Brnnsgrove's No. TSS, D. Forrest's Silver, K. Kisby's Ascot, 2 hrs., 29min., 2.
. The second event took the form of an interval race for first hamper old birds from Palmerston North, a distance of 130 miles. The birds were liberated at intervals of ten minutes.
