Conan Doyle, president of the Divorce Reform Union, states that the Union desires to make both sexes equal in matters of divorce, wherefore incurable lunacy, penal servitude, physical or mental decrepitude and cruelty should be sufficient grounds for divorce. It would tlso substitute divorce for separation.
