TELLURIDES PROPRIETARY, LTD. The mine manager reports for the week ending October 12:— Volunteer—The exploring drive leading from the main level has been ad-, vanced 10ft for the week, the country being very broken and not at all favorable for the existence of lodes. The work here has therefore been discontinued'and the men removed to man the main crosscut in the Gordon section. Gordon—The drive on the north course ' of Corbett"s lode has been carried forward Bft for the week, making a total distance of 185 feet from the main crosscut. The ore body is now 4ft wide and i* responsible for some very good-looking ore. Work at this point will be temporarily discontinued and all hands put on to the main low level crosscut to intercept the Julia and Queen reefs now under development in the Silverstnam property. This crosscut will be worked with three shifts per day.
