NORTH TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. ' A meeting of the North Taranakl Cricket Association was Iheld at New Plymouth last night. _ _ For the Thursday competition six e£tries were received from senior teamv*. and two from junior teams. Five en- , tries were received for the Saturday "> competition. The clubs to take part in the Thursday competition are InglewooJ ■" (two teams), New Plymouth, New Ply- • 'mouth High School, Waitara, and / ■Urenui. As only two entries (those of > ( the Waitara and New Plymouth Clubs? , were received, it was decided not to hold any junior competition. The entrant! for the Saturday competition are:—New Plymouth High School, Inglewood, Law, • and United Service.
The Nomads' Club, Marton, wrote ask- . ing for a two-days' match, and it decided to offer them December 31 and January 1 as suitable dates. After some discussion it was decided to amend the rules so as to provide that. the committee to settle disputes shall ; consist of two delegates from each senior club, the president, and a clnlinnajl ■ to be elected from the delegates. Th» constitution of the management committee was altered so as to compriso 4h».. president, vice-president, hon. secretary, ; the treasurer, one delegate from each club (to be elected by the club) , and one delegate from each junior club. •'
