The barometer has : risen in the south, with south-easterly ■ winds, strong to a gale, but northerlies have prevailed in the north. Forecast: . -iPresent indications are for cloudy and misty weatherj with, rain in most parts. Strong and variable winds will probably be experienced, with northerly winds predominating after about twenty-four lours. Easterly to southerly winds, decreasing ' meanwhile. The barometer is unsteady, rismg for a short time in the south and falling temporarily in the north.
